I don’t have a roommate because I like to live alone, but for the most part I feel safe in my new place.
I have lived with a lot of roommates in the past plus I am cheerful that I am finally able to live alone in my own space. I know the winter season time is coming plus the town I live in gets actually cold during this season. I am sure that I will have to have the heat blasting for about four months during the winter, so I thought it would be a nice idea to reach out to my landlord about having the air ducts cleaned. I tend to get into a lot of fights with my roommate.
I get into a lot of fights with him because he doesn’t do very much.
Recently I just got into a fight with him because he was not taking very good care of the HVAC system. He never does his laundry or dishes or cleans up after himself either. So I don’t know why I would think that he would take care of our HVAC system too. We both live here. We both pay rent. So I think that we should both be responsible for things that are shared. And the HVAC system is definitely a shared thing for our apartment. The HVAC system helps to put heat and air conditioning into our house. He does help me pay for it but he does not do the dirty work. We have to replace the filter every month. He has not yet replaced a filter. We have been in this apartment for a year. So he has missed changing the air filter six times. I usually try to wait a couple of days but he never does it. And I don’t want our HVAC system to break down if it doesn’t get done. So I always end up doing it. I can only leave it for 3 days at most. I think it would be a terrible thing especially in the winter to go without an HVAC system. I would not want that to happen. I hope that one day my roommate will realize his responsibilities living with me.

I love being able to feel the warm air coming from my air vents in the winter time.
I could not imagine having a winter time and not having heat it.
We did have to go a short. Of time without eating before. The reason for that being that our power went out. We did not have a backup generator. So we had to make it without heat for a couple of days. We had to use the stove quite often because it is a gas stove. So we were allowed to use the gas. Thankfully it was not electric. We used it to cook a lot of things. That was about the only way we could putting any heat into our home. We had to make sure we kept going so that we did not get too cold. Being without you it really is not all that great. It’s really not that fun to have to try and keep yourself warm. That is the point of a heating system. It is supposed to do all of the work for you. You should not have to work so hard to keep yourself warm. Not these days anyway. So having heat in the wintertime is an essential part of survival these days for sure. I am not sure what people did before HVAC systems. I would be curious to be able to interview back in the colonial times to see exactly how they were able to keep warm. I bet it was surely very interesting. I can’t even begin to imagine.

Do I am avoiding it altogether by removing the air ducts behind my walls
One of the worst part about having central air is having air ducts. I used to like having air ducts because I thought that you had to have them. But now that I know more about HVAC systems I know and I do not have to have them. I actually changed over to a ductless mini-split system. This means that I no longer need to have air ducts with in my HVAC system. This has really been a game-changer for me. I noticed that my house is not full of dust anymore. I think most of the dust was coming from my air ducts. I would even have my air ducts cleaned once a year. I had them cleaned once a year so that I could get rid of all that dust build-up. I hate having to think about all of the dust that could be building up behind my walls. I can just imagine it coming right out of the air vents and into my home. I feel like all of that dust also adds to my allergy problems. If the dust comes out of the air vents, it probably floats around the air. There is also no place for it to go so it gets trapped right inside. I am not a huge fan of the thought of all of this. Do I am avoiding it altogether by removing the air ducts behind my walls. I did not have to get rid of them altogether, however I thought it would be best with my allergies. I hope this new system does well.

All you have to do is call and make an appointment for an HVAC system tune up. Then the HVAC company will call you to remind you before your appointment. Then they will come to your house. You do have to be home for this type of appointment so that they can check everything in the HVAC system. Do not worry though, I am sure it will be worth your time.

Last week my husband came house from labor and told me that he was going to quit his job, this immediately made me sad as it would any wife.
I asked him to explain why he felt the need to leave his new job, the job market was bad enough as it is! He said he was tired of working for someone else and wanted to start his own business.
I understand the want to set your own hours and make your own rules, but this just sounded legitimately extreme. My husband said he wanted to start his own local heating and cooling supplier that was a reliable site for his friends and family to get their Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment services. The choice to open a Heating plus Air Conditioning corporation came as a shock to me because my husband has never expressed an interest in heating and cooling equipment before. I had multiple concerns with this idea and thought maybe he was having a midlife crisis. I just hope that he knows what he is doing, I don’t want him to wake up one morning and regret his decision, however I believe only time will tell that.

I live in a honestly old house! My home was built in the 1920s and it is almost falling apart. I have lived here for about ten years now and I have done a lot of work around the locale to help restore it to its original design. However, there are somethings on an old home that you just can’t restore without replacing. I have been fighting with a local Heating as well as A/C company because I don’t’ want to have to replace the entire Heating as well as A/C system, but I guess that I am going to have to. I can’t get the air conditioner fan to stop running all afternoon and evening. I will turn off the air conditioner, but that doesn’t seem to help at all because the air conditioner fan just continues to run. I feel like fixing the air conditioner fan should be an easy job, but so far the Heating as well as A/C company has been giving me the hardest time about coming out to my home and fixing it. I have called the Heating as well as A/C every single afternoon for over two weeks and they only respond via SMS message. I know that I have been giving the Heating as well as A/C company a difficult time about fixing my air conditioner fan, but they have not been giving the best client service, all I want is to not have to spend money an arm and a leg to have my Heating as well as A/C system fixed. However, this is an old home so I know most of the parts for the Heating as well as A/C system are going to be too old and will need to be replaced.
