Hire professional air cleaning experts for commercial spaces such as hotels, restaurants, and offices.
Having a sound HVAC system installed in your commercial premise is excellent but not necessarily enough to guarantee high levels of air purity. It is even more crucial for busy spaces such as restaurants where air quickly gets contaminated due to the fumes and smells from the kitchen. So how does a business owner in such a space ensure that customers enjoy good air quality as they dine with family and friends? Well, having fans running is one of the easiest ways to enhance the HVAC system’s effectiveness, but this will not be a permanent solution. Other supplementary activities are needed to help keep the customer comfortable and ensure high-quality air. One essential thing that works is keeping the space clean. This explains the constant cleaning that goes on in busy commercial centers. Cleaning helps minimize the potential accumulation of dust and mold. Both of these can interfere with the freshness of the space. Regular cleaning makes a big difference and should be prioritized at all times. In addition to that, have the professional cleaners come in at least once a month to thoroughly clean the ducts and other airways that may be dirty. The frequency of such cleaning can even be sooner if the activity levels in the space are very high. Hire professional air cleaning experts for commercial spaces such as hotels, restaurants, and offices. These experts probably have an HVAC professional in their team and have the right equipment to get the job done. Filter changes and proper ventilation should also be the norm. More importantly, always carry out regular air tests to ensure that everything is perfect. If all this seems like too much to handle, get a contract with an HVAC business or an HVAC contractor who can handle the process at a fee.

Safety is never an issue whenever her Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman is at work.
It is impossible to convince my sister that anyone can handle her Heating and Air Conditioning component unless qualified plus licensed, and her decision stems from the fact that she suffered serious consequences a few years back when a careless Heating and Air Conditioning handyman broke her heat pump, forcing her to upgrade the AC when she was not prepared for the replace, and she decided never to gamble with the safety of her system after that plus dedicated her time towards sorting for the right Heating and Air Conditioning professionals, even if it meant paying more currency… It turns out that benign this strict with who you hire to handle your AC plus boiler repairs pays off eventually. She claims to cherish continuously the peace of mind she gets when her system is fine-tuned because she knows that she will get through Summer plus winter without any hitches. Her system runs more efficiently plus serves her better without incurring high bi-weekly power bills. She is also sure that she can claim warranties for the system because it is being taken common care of. Safety is never an issue whenever her Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman is at work. She knows that she will do an excellent job plus that the air quality in her house will consistently be top-notch. Finally, plus most crucially is the fact that the Heating and Air Conditioning business is consistently on time… There are no flimsy excuses. It is the guaranteed quality plus professionalism that make her stick to the right professionals, with all these benefits, I may just follow her lead plus get myself a good Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman to call whenever my heating plus cooling component malfunctions.

I grew up in a tropical area where it gets below sixty degrees maybe twice a year. Then, my home town got too big for my tastes, so, I moved my family eight hours north. I still live in a part of the US considered the deep south, so, I really didn’t expect to be too affected by cold weather. Boy, was I wrong. It gets cold here, and I discovered that I don’t like the cold at all. I am renting a house that has no heat. We use little safety space heaters during the winter, and they really aren’t very effective when the temperatures go down to the thirties and twenties. There are too many cold spots in the house. When we finally buy a home here, I am definitely choosing a house with an HVAC unit already installed, or I will have a ductless mini-split air conditioning and heating system installed. Last year, I finally decided to upgrade our space heaters to a nice large one that looks like a fireplace. I love it. It’s portable, but, we keep it in the living room. It does a pretty good job of heating up the living areas and the bedrooms during the day, when the bedroom doors are open. But, unfortunately, we still need to use the little ineffective space heaters at night. I think, until we find a house to buy, I will invest in a heating blanket, because I certainly do not like the cold at all.

I grew up in a tropical climate, so, when I moved eight hours north, I didn’t expect the summers to be as hot.
Boy, was I wrong! When I moved here, it was because I was looking for a small town that was still in the south.
My old home town had just gotten too big for my tastes and I wanted a safe place to raise my children. I brought the kids up here a few months before my husband joined us, and rented us a rather nice little three bedroom mobile home with central heat and air conditioning for a really good price. Then, the heat wave came. Every day, the temperatures went up to over a hundred and five degrees, the heat index ranged between one hundred and ten to one hundred and twenty, and even my central air conditioning was useless. I went to my landlady’s house to complain, and her place was just as hot as mine. I went to my sister’s house on the other side of town. She had window air conditioners in every room, and even her house was unbearably hot. I did manage to find a way to keep us cool. The tiny middle bedroom in my mobile home would actually stay pretty cool if I ran the A/C on full blast and kept the door closed, so, we spent about a week in that room. I worked the overnight shift at a local restaurant, and, when I got home with the kids in the morning, we got food, drinks, toys and books and the kids and I would stay in that room and enjoy the cool air conditioning while I dozed. At times I felt bad keeping the kids in that little room, but, they didn’t seem to mind. It seemed it was the only place in town to stay cool.

I remember when we were hit by a hurricane about seven years ago.
Our electricity was out for ten days.
Of course, those living in the wealthier areas of town had their electricity back on almost immediately, but, we poor folks had to wait. It was horrible. The temperatures stayed around the low to middle nineties, which we were used to, but, the humidity was unbearable. And, it felt like that hurricane took all the breeze with it. Because we were in the neglected side of town, our drainage system wasn’t as good as it was in the wealthier areas, and, after a few days, the mosquitoes were unbearable! It’s not like we could sit in our homes with the doors closed. It was way too hot. And, most of us in that area didn’t have the luxury of screened doors or screened in porches. I actually went to my sister’s house and borrowed my infant nephew so that my neighbor would feel bad enough to hook us up to his generator and we could run our fans, at least. I couldn’t wait for our power to come back on so that we could run our air conditioner. It was so humid and the bugs were so awful, I still cringe thinking about it. It took ten long days before our power was restored. We had to wait for equipment to be brought down from up North. Boy, were we grateful to have our air conditioning back!

We are under a tropical storm warning.
I’ve lived through many tropical storms and hurricanes and you would think it would be no big deal.
The problem is, the tropical storms and hurricanes that I have lived through in the past were in a wealthy town better prepared for that kind of weather. The town I live in now doesn’t get severe weather, and is not prepared for flooding and power outages. I’m really not as concerned about flooding as I am about power outages. I can cook easily enough on the grill for a few days, but, I do not like going without air conditioning. Although the temperatures will only be in the middle to high eighties, the humidity will be terrible. And in about two days, the mosquitos will be terrible, too. Experience tells me this. In the past, after a tropical storm or hurricane, we’ve gone days without electricity, but, many stores and restaurants with electricity were open, and we would spend time in them, enjoying the cool air conditioning and cold drinks. I never appreciated air conditioning and cold drinks as much as I did after a few days without electricity in the middle of summer in the south. The meteorologists are predicting extensive power outages in this area. I really hope it doesn’t take long to restore it. To me, humidity is worse than high temperatures. Although it’s only in the eighties here right now, the humidity is already close to ninety-five percent, so, I am enjoying my air conditioning while I have it.

When I was younger, at times, I actually enjoyed the heat.
I grew up in a tropical climate and raised my children there. Every weekend, I took my children to the beach or the local lake to swim or to the park or elementary school playground to play. We would make a day of it. I’d pack up some towels, drinks, lunch, snacks, and sunscreen, turn the thermostat on my air conditioner down about four degrees, and off we would go. The children always had a great time, and got plenty of fresh air and exercise. Two of the parks in my hometown had water spouts that helped to keep the children cool, and these are the parks we chose on the hottest days, because, cooling off is extremely important in a tropical environment. After a long day of fun in the sun, we would return home to an air conditioned house, grateful for the cool air. This is one big reason I would turn the thermostat down an extra four degrees before leaving, so that we could cool off quickly when we returned home. After baths and showers and a nice dinner, we would sit around soaking up the air conditioning until bedtime. After the heat of the day, we would sleep so well in the cool air conditioning, often bundled up in blankets. Of course, I would turn the thermostat back up to seventy-six degrees, where I usually kept it throughout the week to conserve energy, but, that one weekend day and night, we would splurge, because really cold air is a real treat after an extremely hot and humid day in the sun.
more about air conditioning
As a student, I have been made better aware of how we humans are destroying the Earth, especially the effect our energy usage has had on the environment.
- I don’t have a lot of money to spare, but, our government understands that not everybody has extra money to spare to help our environment, which probably explains why tax deductions are offered to people who choose energy efficient appliances.
Homes are rather cheap in my small rural town, and, when I purchase one, I hope to have the extra money to purchase environmentally friendly appliances, like the geothermal HVAC system. The temperature within the Earth stays fairly consistent, and the geothermal system uses the heat beneath the Earth’s surface to heat the home in winter, and returns the heat to the Earth in the summer when the system cools the home. A geothermal system is more expensive to purchase, but will save money in the long run. It uses less energy than traditional HVAC systems, lasts years longer, and requires minimal maintenance. It also leaves a much smaller carbon footprint than other traditional methods of heating and cooling a house. Since many of the houses in my small rural town don’t offer air conditioning outside of window units, purchasing a home here will give me the opportunity to do my part in helping the environment by purchasing a geothermal air conditioning and heating system.

Summer in the South can be unbearably hot and humid, at least for some people, but, we enjoy the heat, as long as we have cool air conditioning to return to. Our summers are spent swimming in lakes, at the beach, a friends pool, or in the local swimming hole. We also enjoy caneoing the river, fishing the streams, hiking the trails, barbecuing with friends and family, playing frisbee in the park, playing sports and all sorts of summer fun that makes us hot, sweaty, and often sunburned. We don’t have a problem with the heat, as long as we know that when the fun is over, we can go home to a decent shower and a cool air conditioned house. We usually keep the thermostat set on seventy-six degrees and keep our ceiling fans on high, but, we will usually turn the thermostat down to seventy before a day of fun in the sun, so that we know it will be nice and cool when we get home. We make sure we have our HVAC unit serviced regularly to keep us comfortable. We learned a hard lesson when, during our third year of not having it serviced, the HVAC got sick. We are grateful a certified technician was able to fix it before it died. I will never neglect my air conditioning unit again and am so grateful that we have such a healthy, energy efficient unit.

I am really grateful that I did research on modern air conditioning and heating systems before my husband and I began our hunt for a new home.
Most of the houses in my little one horse town are older and don’t offer the comforts found in an HVAC system.
However, we live in the South, and a good source of air conditioning is very important to me. I’m not fond of window units, and was unsure about whether ductwork could even be installed in an older home. I was afraid that we would need to eliminate any house we looked at if it did not have an HVAC unit. I was also unaware that HVAC systems must be replaced every ten or fifteen years. That’s another thing I hadn’t taken into consideration when looking at houses. Much to my relief, my research showed me that an HVAC unit in a home we may purchase is not an absolute necessity. I discovered some ductless mini-split systems that offer both air conditioning and heat. Most are rather attractive and many can be remote control operated. Some even purify the air. They appear to be easy to install, although, of course, I will hire a technician to do it. My husband may be handy around the house, but letting him install it may lead to disaster and that is not a chance I want to take. Doing my research and learning about the ductless mini-split air conditioning and heating system opened a lot of doors for us (literally) and I don’t think I’ve ever had such an appreciation of modern technology. I’ve learned to do my research.
