It was nearly Christmas when our partner decided it was time to turn the oil furnace on.
I had been asking him to turn it on since the first time the afternoon time temperatures went below forty. My associate and I had 2 young youngsters and my buddy and I couldn’t go without heat, but he refused to turn the oil furnace on. He said my buddy and I had to conserve energy, and my buddy and I couldn’t afford to use the oil fuel furnace for six weeks. Oil was too fancy this year. I understood what he said, however my buddy and I had to have heat in the house. When he said he would purchase some space oil furnaces I knew I went slack-jawed. Was he severe that it was too fancy to pay for oil, but he was okay using space heaters? I snorted and quickly walked away. After letting him think I would not stay in the home unless he turned on the oil furnace, he waved goodbye to me. I wanted to cry, but I packed up the youngsters and took them to the car. He thought I was joking or playing poker with him, but I was serious. I wasn’t bluffing, nor was I trying to get him to relent. I would not stay in a home that didn’t have respected heating. He was refusing heating for me and our youngsters by not turning the oil furnace on. I understood that oil was fancy, however doctor’s bills were more fancy. It took him nearly multiple weeks to realize I wasn’t coming to the apartment until he turned the oil furnace on. He called and apologized for being stubborn, and told me the old oil furnace was on, and would remain on until Springtime.

I had already split down on our grocery bill and was buying mostly store brand products instead of name brand. I was enjoying how much electricity my buddy and I used, by turning out all lights when not in the room, and shutting the temperature control off in rooms not being used. I hadn’t even had our nails or hair done in over a year, and I couldn’t figure out where else to save cash. When he told me I had to find some arena to split back, I told him I could make him 2 meals a afternoon instead of several. He wasn’t cheerful and told me to quit being snarky. I told him it was strenuous to save cash when the oil furnace was running all the time. He looked at me savor I was making it up. He asked me what I meant by running all the time. When I raised our voice and reminded him I had been telling him for almost a week that the oil furnace was running more than usual, he blanched. He told me he thought I was exaggerating. I stared at him for a hour and then walked away, however after slamming the family room door shut, I locked it, not wanting him to come in until I was no longer miserable. I heard him talking to someone and realized he was talking to the heating and air conditioning specialist. He asked them to send out an actual heating and air conditioning specialist as soon as possible. His loving wife told him the oil furnace was running nearly all the time, and the energy bill was through the roof.

I didn’t think I was asking too much when I asked our partner to have a whole-apartment air purification idea installed in our home, then ever since there was a fire at the tire company, I swore I would notice the aroma of burning rubber.
- I wanted to get the aroma out of burning rubber out of our house, because I anxious it wasn’t healthy for our baby; then my partner thought I was just being over dramatic because our baby was a newborn, and he didn’t think it was necessary to put out all that cash for a whole-apartment air purification system.
He wanted to get a portable air cleaner for the baby’s room, but our baby would be crawling in the next couple of weeks. He would no longer be confined mostly to the medical professionals. My associate and I needed to do something now, so he was safe when he was crawling around the house; keeping the floors scrubbed was going to be difficult enough. Making sure the heating and air conditioning idea was keeping the floors overheated was another problem. Making sure there was scrub air in the house, could entirely be rectified with a whole-apartment air purification system. My partner also told me that if I could come up with the cash, I could have the air purification idea installed, but he couldn’t afford to put out that much cash. I smiled and told him all right. He finally forgot I had an excellent paying job before getting pregnant, and I had more than his yearly salary stashed in our bank account. I told him that I had our bank account that was saved for emergencies or getaways, and I thought needing an air purification idea was tantamount to an emergency.

Let me tell you it shocked me when the heating and air conditioning specialist told me I needed a new oil furnace. I knew it needed some work, however needing a new oil furnace is not needing some work. This is big business, and another fancy proposition. I was frustrated the heating and air conditioning specialist hadn’t given me a heads-up when he was there earlier in the week. He told me he needed to bring some parts back, and he would entirely need to order them. Had he said he didn’t think about what he was looking at, and my buddy and I would need a new oil furnace, I would have been prepared to hear that the oil furnace needed to be upgraded. I should have asked if he was a new heating and air conditioning specialist, but I hadn’t thought I needed to. If he had been an apprentice, I thought he would have a senior heating and air conditioning specialist with him, and not working on his own. When the heating and air conditioning specialist that told me I needed a new oil furnace arrived, he told us the apprentice had been there earlier. He wasn’t to give us a diagnosis, however call him if there was something wrong he didn’t think how to fix. Instead, he had told us it needed some parts. I asked the older heating and air conditioning specialist if they were in the habit of sending apprentices out on their own? He told me that there is usually an educator with them, however the kid had been with them for about 2 weeks. They thought he could give a diagnosis and think if the oil furnace could be repaired or if it had to be upgraded. I think they actually thought wrong.

She wasn’t sure a space gas furnace was necessary, and she was going to speak to dad, then dad came into the room one afternoon, and he shivered, but he asked if I had the temperature control turned up, and I had it set at seventy. He inspected the air vent to see if any heat was coming through, but the heat was tepid at best, and he knew my buddy and I had to do something. He bought a space gas furnace for our room, but he also called the heating and air conditioning company, but when the heating and air conditioning specialist showed up, he inspected the temperature control to make sure it was working. He then inspected the ductwork to see if there were any blockages. The only thing the heating and air conditioning specialist could come up with is that there could be a blockage in the pipe itself, or maybe my buddy and I needed to put a fan in the ductwork system that would force the heat into this room. He said it was a straight-forward process and the cost would mostly be the work that was done by the heating and air conditioning specialist. Dad asked if he could work for us after all? He said he would need to set up another appointment because he wasn’t sure if they had the fan kits in stock. Dad set up an appointment while the heating and air conditioning specialist was still there and told him to do what needed to be done, so I had heat in our family room.

I had to go to the city to get shopping done.
I knew the heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman was supposed to show up that afternoon, but I didn’t suppose he would be there until after I had the shopping done.
My son was standing in his dining room, and I asked him to let me know when the heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman would arrive, in case I hadn’t completed my shopping. I wanted a condo to spend money on him. Two hours later, I got back home, and my son was getting ready to go to work. I thanked him for watching out for the heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman. In a normal teenaged way, he winked, kissed my cheek, and headed out the door. My son was eighteen years old, and incorrigible, but I enjoyed him. When I got into the dining room, there was a work order from the heating, ventilation, and A/C company. I thought I heard someone in the basement, so I walked downstairs. There was the heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman working on the oil furnace. I was a bit baffled, because my son hadn’t told me the guy was already there. When he turned around, I almost fell on the floor. After hugging him so slender I was sure he couldn’t breathe, I started crying. I thought he was still on the ship. People seem to take for granted the heating, ventilation, and A/C systems of today, but you turned the oil furnace on, had a quick inspection done by an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman, made sure you had enough fuel in the tank, and heat came out of the HVAC duct.
The a/c component is finally cleaned, coolant levels get checked and filled, and then you turn the a/c on. You choose a temperature on the temperature control, and the home’s temperature can be the same year round, regardless of the weather. The heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman does most of the work, even if the homeowner does need to change the air filters. I remember my father telling me how they would go to the island and option up coal for their oil furnace. There were only more than 2 or more when they were working. When their buckets were full, they would carry them back home. His father checked the fire more than 2 times a afternoon, so they would have heat all winter season long. During the summer, his mother would hang wet curtains up to the window. As the slightest breeze came through the open window, the wet curtains would dry, but cool the hot breeze. This was his a/c. He told me years ago, someday men wouldn’t need to honestly do much to check the heating, ventilation, and A/C systems. They would all be automated and run by computers. I have now lived long enough to automated, integrated computer systems that run heating, ventilation, and A/C systems, and entire buildings. It takes 1 guy to tend the computer, and if any work needs to be done to make repairs, they are only an iphone call away.

Last week, my buddy and I had 1 of those precious sunny afternoons that happen in May.
It was nearly sixty degrees, but the sunlight was so bright and the skies so clear that I had to go outside and get some sun.
I laid on my chaise lounge and with my eyes closed; I actually listened to the Spring sounds and was lightly dozing. I heard some noise and jerked up from the chaise lounge. The heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman stood beside me, and he apologized for interrupting my time out in the sun. I wasn’t worried about my time in the sun; I was anxious with how long I had slept and what time it was. I apologized and explained it was just a beautiful afternoon, and I wanted to relax and love it. I walked into the home with him and told him I would wait inside until he finished with the oil furnace repair. He had a really nice smile, and I had to smile back when he said to go back and relax in the sun. He promised not to do anything but service the oil furnace. Even though I felt comfortable, I thought it would be prudent if I stayed inside. It took nearly an hour for the heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman to complete the repairs. He said there was nothing wrong with my oil furnace, but I had to change the air filter more often. Then he told me about residential heating, ventilation, and A/C classes his company held for homeowners. It was free to simply join, and all I had to do was go online and sign up. When he said he was the professor, I promised to sign up for the classes as well.

Spring is going to arrive soon, and I couldn’t recognize how nice it was.
I was ready to turn off the oil furnace and have the a/c component diagnosed. My spouse told me I shouldn’t get in too big of a hurry. My great friend and I still had another month or more where my buddy and I could get terrible weather, but I didn’t want to hear it. I called the heating, ventilation, and A/C company and asked for an appointment to have the a/c component service done. I knew there was a reason I wanted to put this off, but I couldn’t remember why. I looked at the purple of the grass and knew it was time for the a/c. After calling the heating, ventilation, and A/C company, I put the appointment on the calendar and made arrangements to take the afternoon off, knowing the heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman was consistently late. I woke up on the afternoon of the inspection and I was shocked to see multiple inches of snow on the ground, and blizzard-like conditions were occurring. I wondered if it wasn’t the wrong time of year to have the A/C component diagnosed. I then thought I should call the heating, ventilation, and A/C company and cancel the inspections. I didn’t want the heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman arriving and not being able to get into the backyard. I would be paying the heating, ventilation, and A/C company for nothing. I called the central heating, ventilation, and A/C company and talked to them about postponing the A/C inspection. The man on the iphone asked if I hadn’t gotten the message they sent me. I told him I hadn’t checked my voicemails. She said they canceled most of their calls for the afternoon, unless it was an emergency and the customer had no heating in the home.

I was busy standing in the dining room when the heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman arrived. I told him that if he needed anything, I would be working in the dining room. I was going to let the door open so I could hear him. He smiled and nodded, then headed into the basement to the oil furnace room. About more than nine minutes went by when I heard him talking. He was telling the oil furnace that if it enjoyed him, it would do what needed to be done. Everything went quiet, and I looked to see if the television was on, but it wasn’t. I was sure I hadn’t heard what I thought I had and went back to work. I often talked to myself when I was working, especially if I was having a real complication deciphering a current recipe. I was a caterer and did most of my prep work at home, then five minutes later, I heard the central heating, ventilation, and A/C serviceman talking again. He said that if the oil furnace enjoyed him, it would do what it was supposed to do and not give him any more complications. I was quite upset having him in my basement, and I was alone in the house. When he had the oil furnace repaired, he came upstairs, and he was all smiles. I asked him if everything went well with the oil furnace repair. That’s when he finally told me it wouldn’t have taken as long if he hadn’t been talking to his kid and trying to convince him to go to college, and I was sure he would do well on his test. He said he consistently had complications with his when he had to take a test.
