Don’t need heat when you have dogs and fiance

When I was younger, I remember how uncomfortable it was trying to get by… When you are just starting out in life and people will only pay you eight or $10 an hour, it’s pretty hard to find a arena to live and food to put in your mouth… There were several times that I lived on Ramen and granola bars for weeks on end because that has all I could afford at the grocery store.

There were months that I had to walk everywhere because I could not pay for car insurance or gas, but in fact, they were truly times that I had to turn off the indoor air temperature control unit because I could not afford to power my heating and cooling appliances.

To save cash I would literally detach to the control unit and give it to my acquaintance for safekeeping so I could not be tempted to change the indoor air quality even if I wanted to. Drastic times and extreme measures. I remember those days being uncomfortable in several ways, most literally in the part of air quality and relative body temperature… Now that I am older, I do not struggle with affording my heating and cooling unit nearly the same way that I once did. However, I have also found that it’s not truly necessary to rely on my forced air heater in the same way that I needed to as a young, single woman, then as an adult, my winter season nights are not so shockingly chilly because I am never alone in bed. Between my three 100 lb dogs and my fiance, I can rarely find a cool spot in the bed.
