This past week, I have come home from work late every day.
I work in the cooling industry as an a/c serviceman.
I love my job because every day is different. This week I have had pretty tricky cases. One, in particular, had me at a customer’s residence for hours, and I only managed to get two jobs done that entire day. The day started as usual. I went to the office to get my truck and gear and got a list of available jobs. I have one air conditioning repair and an HVAC installation. I needed to pass by the air conditioning provider for a new programmable thermostat for a customer who lives near me. I decided to start with the repair, then head on to fit the new multi-split air conditioning system, and finish off with the regulator on my way home. Being in the air conditioning company for over a decade, I know more about air conditioning and what is required to install the quality HVAC equipment. After confirming that the quality air conditioner was the right size, we started with the installation process. We encountered several issues, including unusual noises and a lack of proper airflow in every room. It is according to my expertise to I ensure I get all these factors correctly before switching on the unit. We redid the installation process three times, which took so much time. Once we were sure there was air quality in all rooms and that the thermostat worked perfectly, we switched on the unit. With crossed fingers and baited breadth, we wait to hear the unit come alive. We all sighed in relief when the unit came to life without unusual noises. We recommended that the customer schedule HVAC maintenance once every year.
