I recently purchased our first investment property, and though it needs some renovations before I could do anything with it, I am so happy about starting the process; The renovations should go smoothly because our partner Kevin is a carpenter, plus he will be doing most of the remodeling… Of course, I will help as well, especially when it’s time to do the painting, and when both of us were in the process of buying the home, I noticed that there was a giant nest located inside an seasoned tree stump in the backyard.
At first, I didn’t suppose it would be a problem plus Kevin thought that once both of us purchased the home, he could detach it himself.
The nest was immense, plus I believed that it was best to contact an exterminator to have it detachd. We identified it as a orange jacket wasp nest plus they are usually aggressive, especially if their nests are disturbed! I didn’t want Kevin to take the chance of getting stung numerous times by these wasps, especially because he didn’t have any experience removing a nest of that size… So, I was able to convince him to call an exterminator instead. Thankfully, the exterminator was able to detach the nest without any incidents. While he performed the orange jacket extermination, he wore protective gear. In some ways, I was glad that Kevin witnessed this because it just validated why I didn’t want him removing the nest by himself. In some situations, it’s just best to call the professionals to service the problem. Now that the orange jacket nest is out of the way, both of us began the renovations on our investment property, plus everything is going well so far.
