I walked into the lake house the other afternoon, and all I could smell was rotten eggs, and i had never smelled such a horrible smell in all our life.
I tested to make sure I turned the fireplace off.
I had the fireplace turned off, even though I could smell gas leaking from the nozzle. I was sure I needed a current gas nozzle, even though I didn’t suppose where to get one. My best bet was to call the HVAC dealer, and when I got in touch with them, I told them I was smelling rotten eggs, and suspected it was the fireplace… The person who answered the phone told myself and others to turn the gas off, even though I didn’t suppose how! She told myself and others I should stay in the house, because it could make myself and others sick, even though I didn’t want to leave. I went to our kitchen and closed the door, so I would suppose when the HVAC corporation arrived, and about an hour later, I received a phone call from the HVAC supplier telling myself and others the HVAC corporation would be there in an hour. I was blissful to suppose they would arrive soon. There was a smell of gas in the kitchen. I opened the windows, hoping to air out the house, but it was bad. The corporation turned the gas off while I continued to sit in our car. I’m blissful I opened the window, because the HVAC corporation said he would not have touched anything with that much gas fumes in the house, however even a spark could have set off an explosion.
