I called Jack to see if he would be willing to help me out with the installation of the generator.
After 3 weeks of storm activity, tropical storms, and hurricane weather, my wife and I were at the end of our rope. The yard was a muddy mess and the patio furniture was torn apart. We spent 10 out of those 21 days without any power. Several of those days we spent without internet comment telephone service, or a data connection. When we finally had a couple of days in a row when the weather was clear and sunny, I contacted a licensed residential and commercial electrician to install a generator in our home. I have a friend that works as a licensed residential and commercial service electrician. The guy has been in the business since he was a teenager. He started out working as an apprentice and now he owns his own business. The guy is one of the best success stories that I can think of. He really did work hard to build a business that came from nothing. I called Jack to see if he would be willing to help me out with the installation of the generator. We talked about different types of generators and what I wanted out of the machine. Jack came over to the house to talk to my wife and I about the services that were available. We talked about where we would put the generator and how the machine would work. I was really happy that I contacted a friend to give me more information about the project, because he didn’t talk to me like an electrician or a businessman and that made me feel more comfortable.
