That’s when we realized that when we lost power we also had an energy surge fry our overpriced central cooling device! As a teacher I worry a lot about this next generation of adults who are coming up right now.
It seems like they have been massively affected by the influx of technology in our new world. I don’t understand how these teenagers are ever going to grow into real functioning adults when they are so reliant on cell iphones, PCs, plus the internet. I know that there isn’tmuch of a choice because our viral pandemic has continued to rage on for the past many months. In fact, it seems like new cases are climbing through the roof every single day. It has to be getting seriously harsh plus dangerous for these critical service workers, including healthcare experts, dentists, plus hospital staff. Not only are they on call all the time plus working extra hours, but I’ve also heard that they’re taking away staff split rooms. There is such a shortage of hospital beds available that they’re literally commandeering the normal split rooms to turn them into ICU facilities. Where are the dentists going for breaks? Into the supply closets. That’s right, these overworked humans are now being shoved in with the air filters, ventilators, plus respiratory devices in the storage closets. Not only are they trying to keep themselves sane while they stand next to the forced air heaters plus air duct, but I have questions about the ventilation that is available in these supply closets. Surely, there is not enough circulation gave to a proper closet. A brand new UV bulb can kill microscopic toxins, organisms, and airborne contamination. There is no doubt about that. However, UV lights abruptly lose their powerful disinfection capabilities over time. Working in the lab, I had to watch the ventilation in controlled fume hoods. If we had a UV light in use for air disinfection, the bulb had to be replaced every couple of months. I know for a fact that new Heating, Ventilation and A/C companies developing their air cleaners with UV lights are not advertising this to their clients. If they are, my family absolutely is not listening.
