This is a rule that has been the same for the past 2 years.
I have been working for the house building complex that long, and when there is a service that requires parts, I have to make a request. When a service requires service from an outside provider, I have to send a request for that as well. Over the weekend, there was a problem with one of our renters and I needed to replace some parts for the air conditioning system. The parts for the air conditioning system were only $17 and I paid for them out of my own pocket. I truthfully didn’t feel it was going to be a substantial deal and I knew that the parts were going to repair the problem with the customers air conditioning system. I submitted the bill so I could get paid and I got a call 5 minutes later from my boss. He wanted to see me inside his office. When I sat down, I truthfully thought he was going to write me a check or give me money out of the drawer. I actually didn’t expect him to yell at me for not following the rules. I told my boss that the $17 parts were no big deal and I didn’t mind paying for them, but he told me that I wasn’t following directions and it wasn’t about the amount of money that I paid for the parts. I don’t feel I’m going to work here much longer with stupid rules like that.

It’s frustrating when there are problems with the heating or cooling system, and recently I had problems with the fireplace, a part of our boiler that we use quite frequently. My wife and I purchased our house with a fireplace so we could use that to help our heating costs year after year. A fireplace is free to use as long as you don’t include the cost of wood. We easily get free wood from the forest behind the house, so it’s no substantial deal for us to use our fireplace. I heard some strange noises coming from inside of the chimney and it was getting close to the time when we would normally use our fireplace. I contacted someone at the heating company to have a full system service performed on the chimney. There are skilled and trained specialists that climb up on the roof and clean the chimney from the inside out. This time when I had the service performed, I found out that squirrels made a nest in the chimney during the summer. I had no idea that there were squirrels inside of the chimney and I don’t feel we heard any noises at all during the spring or summer. The service specialist took some pictures of the problematic areas. We had all of the debris and problematic areas cleaned and detached and after that we had the service specialist clean and completely sanitize the inside of the chimney. We didn’t want to breathe any excrement from the squirrel so it was a superb idea to make sure that the chimney was well cleaned.

Both of my boys played basketball for the school and they are both undoubtedly good. I would not be surprised to find out that both of the boys end up with a scholarship to play basketball at a division one school. We had to go to a game that was on the other side of the state. It was an exhibition game and we did not get home until it was almost midnight. It was about 40° outside that evening and it felt just as cold inside of the house. It wasn’t pleasant and I knew there was a problem with the boiler as soon as we walked into the house. I told the boys to take a shower and I told them to grab a space heater from the hall closet. The boys were complaining about the uneven temperatures and I knew they weren’t going to be cheerful with the cold air. I didn’t want them to go right to bed without taking a shower even if the boiler was broken. I contacted an emergency service provider as soon as I got the teenagers settled. The emergency service provider said it was going to cost an extra fee to come to the house in the middle of the night. I did not want to spend money on any extra fees when I could wait until the afternoon. I knew there was another space heater in the hall closet. I slept in the bedroom or the door closed and the space heater was running high. The boys and I made it through to the other side.

I’ve been watching all the cryptos take off, including the one I had a bunch of, while I now sit on this dead duck stock that I was so sure was going to explode. I should have stuck with the AI supplier I was with, but I had the bright idea to switch to a supplier that appears to be in trouble. I need to learn to be more patient when it comes to investing so that I don’t lose all of my money like I did last year. The local corporation was correct when he told me to buy and hold, but I didn’t listen and ended up losing all of my Heating and Air Conditioning system savings from the previous ten years. Imagine saving money for ten years only to see it vanish in an instant due to impatience. So, I believe my Heating and Air Conditioning rep’s Mom was correct when he told me that standup comedians and skydivers make for some risky investors. I’m not sure I’d take financial advice from someone who jumps out of planes for a living; they might be a little too aggressive with their investment portfolio, don’t you think? Instead of attempting to do something I am unfamiliar with, I will stick to HVAC duct cleaning and boiler filter sales. In the end, it isn’t a big deal because money goes out and money comes in all the time, because money is energy, and that is how energy flows. I’m off to the local store now to get a HEPA filter.

Aside from that, it’s going to be a day of working online and healing my body so I can play drums and sing with the band tomorrow. We’re trying to find our sound and getting closer, but my friend and I still need more time to fine-tune our music so that my friend and I can bring in the crowds like I know my friend and I can. We’ve mostly been playing on the streets, but my friend and I have been crossing over to local company show in clubs and air-conditioned bars around the neighborhood for some money. I did play a little too much ball a couple of afternoons ago, and I need to get better quickly so that I can drum without pain in my elbow. I’ve been using chilly gel to cool down my elbow and a heating unit that my mother bought me. This helps a lot with joint pain when you cool and heat the joint over and over, and I’m feeling better but need to keep working on the pain a little more. My boiler will need to be cleaned at some point, and if my elbow continues to hurt, I will contact the heating dealership and have them send out a professional to do the job for me. I want to focus on music and have a pleasant elbow, so having someone else do that work would be extremely beneficial.

My friend and I played there two days ago and had a great time, so today my fantastic friend and I will do it all over again and also try to get into this beach bar near the pier.
The weather is warming up, and more people are flocking to the beach, which is fantastic for us because my fantastic friend and I have a larger audience, more fun, and more followers. My friend and I aren’t aiming for a million followers, but rather a good number so that local businesses can see that we have a fanbase. Our longer-term goal for the next year is to establish a proper rotation in the beach bars and clubs in town, as well as to earn enough money to spend on my savings and bills each month. I expect my fantastic friend and I will be close to doing that soon as well, and then my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech task will be easier because I will be able to reduce my hours working for the local supplier and focus more energy on songs. My plan is to spend the rest of my life in a band, entertaining people and writing songs for the rest of the world to hear. I’d like to work part-time on an air conditioner and spend a lot of my nights in temperature-controlled clubs having fun playing the drums and singing. I know it is possible, but I also know it will require a lot of hard work, which is fantastic for me because I love the craft.
