Friday I sold my stock and tried to buy 27 coins of Bitcoin Cash but for some reason I wasn’t allowed to buy it. That was two days ago when the price per coin was $145 and now it is sitting at $200 a coin. So I would have already made over $1000, but it looks like this could be the very start of a long bull run to a new all time high of $5000. That would be a 25X return, so if I dropped $4000 in there it would be $100K if miracles do happen. My heating supplier told me to buy now and that it is showing on his charts that this thing is going to run up very quickly, which means I could buy that new HVAC system I’ve been eyeing for months now. If it hit $10K a coin I would have $200K, how wild would that be! I guess I will just keep doing my HVAC tech writing work and keep my coins safe and sound without touching them for a while. You never know what can happen when you take a gamble like this, which is how I lost my $100K too though! I worked for many years as a cooling rep and saved all that cash only to lose it gambling with cryptos like I am still doing now, I guess I will never learn. At least I can still make money online as an HVAC worker till this coin does what it is supposed to do and makes this HVAC specialist a millionaire, yeah sure.

Writing with the help climate control
My current job ends tomorrow though so I will be job hunting for the next few days or so and hopefully find a part time gig online.
I have some light piano music playing in my earphones as I start my workday. This is a far cry from climbing on ladders in the hot sun painting houses like I was doing when I ran my own painting company. I had it going well, working about 20 hours a week and making good money, maybe $1500 a week. But I grew tired of the racket and wanted a change, which is when the 2008 crisis hit and that was my cue to get out of it for good. I packed up my car and moved to NYC, heating up my comedy career by performing each night in climate controlled clubs in the city. That somehow led me here, where I live overseas now and am singing and playing drums in a band. I work from my climate controlled office now and don’t have to worry about being a local contractor on the top of a tall ladder anymore. My current job ends tomorrow though so I will be job hunting for the next few days or so and hopefully find a part time gig online. There are lots of HVAC technology gigs online if you are willing to write about heating and cooling systems, which is something that I have been doing the past few years. I’m just looking for $500 a month now and it should be easy to grab something making that amount. My air conditioning bills during the summer are pretty low thanks to my high SEER rated HVAC system, so I can run the thing while I work from home this summer.
Air conditioning is the best invention
I was working as an engineer until I was 32 years old and decided that it wasn’t the life for me.
A lot of my friends are still stuck in their same jobs and look at my life with envy, wishing they had the guts to make the break like I did and escape that corporate world which seems to rob us of all of our free time. I was working about 55 hours a week there and had no energy each evening when I got home, so I decided to become a comedian and leave it all behind. HVAC system writing has been my job for the past couple of years but now I think I am going to be an air conditioning and furnace salesman for this company down the road. I will start with them at the end of next month and I will be all set once again with paying my monthly bills. I owe Paypal credit for this mini split a/c unit I bought six months ago and now it is accruing interest at $150 a month, so I need to pay off that HVAC system before it gets out of hand. I think I will pay the $40 minimum amount each month until I start working and getting my money flowing again. The local contractor told me he has some duct cleaning work for me as well so I should be good to pay off that Paypal balance over the next two or three months and be done with it once and for all.
Heating up in the shade
I was just at a cafe in the shade and was sweating like I was in the sun.
This tells me that the humidity is really high today and that I should be careful of doing too much when it is this hot out.
I will go to the beach later with my big umbrella and set it up on my beach chair so I can sit out there without dying of heat exhaustion. I think I will try to get out there by 4:30pm, a time when it will probably be the hottest, but cooling down in the shade with a little fan will be the perfect solution. I also have a spray bottle of water to cool me down and should be fine with the three of those things. Climate control is necessary in some form or another when the temps are heating up like they have been, and being in the shade with some breeze is a good start to staying cool and comfy. We will just hang out there the rest of the day in the natural climate control of my umbrella and the light breeze and have a good day with my heating tech friends. Other than that, I am not going to do much more on this sunny and really hot Saturday. Cooling down my flat with the a/c system is what is going on right now as I work to get my stuff done for the day and get out of this flat. I am planning on doing a yoga session too.
Three people looking for a/c repair
It is Saturday the 24th of June and I will hit the 56 year mark in five more days. There are statues that are younger than me now! Part of me feels really old but then another part of me still feels like a kid. I think physically I feel old but spiritually I feel the same as when I was a kid. I bet that playing music in a band like I have been doing helps keep me in touch with that little kid inside, something that seems to draw people to our music and sounds we make. Anyway, HVAC sales are on the slate this week as I have three buddies looking to buy a new HVAC system. The temps are really high now and a lot of people are discovering that they can’t sleep at night without any air conditioning, so they are all calling me to see about getting a new system. I am a bit distracted though because I am in the middle of changing jobs and am spending a lot of time looking online for something new. But selling HVAC systems is my other part time gig and I need to work on that as well because I get 10% commission on every cooling and heating system I sell. For now though, I am going to just chug along and finish the rest of my work before I start to help the people needing cooling units. I have three more days of work online and then I will have a lot of free time to help them out.
Just came home to cool air conditioning
I was at the beach just now having a coffee with my friends and wow is it ever hot out. I came home to check the outside temp and it says it is only 81F, but the humidity feels like I am sitting at the bottom of a lake. I can’t imagine what it will feel like in a month when the temp hits 95F and is humid out. I guess I will stay in the shelter of my flat until about 7 pm each night to avoid the crazy heat, just like I was doing last year at this time. Air con is a must now and I will be running the unit from noon till 6pm each day while I am home in the climate control. It will be really hot for another two and a half months and then we will start to see the temps drop again as we make way for the fall season. My HEPA filter is brand new as I just went to the HVAC company yesterday to get a new one, replacing my old washable filter with a new HEPA type filter. I had a regular one before and there was a lot of dust in my flat, telling me that I need to find something better to clean the air a bit more than it was. I like the a/c filters at the local business because they are a good price and seem to last a long time. I am going to go feed my cats now and we will meet up again later at the same place, right here!
Five hours of ductwork work
I’m trying not to look and dwell on the bad stuff that came my way recently but look for hope instead.
I know that getting stuck in a rut about trying to think how to solve a new problem doesn’t help you solve it clearly.
I am an ex engineer from Silicon Valley and I have been taught pretty well how to solve problems, so I am going to work on solving this problem of losing my job by going to the beach and having fun. I think distancing yourself from a new problem like this helps you. My heating supplier showed me how to do this when we had an issue with a ductwork sealing job. When we discovered the problem my buddy told me that we need to leave the job and head to a park to chill out. The HVAC job was a bit stressful with the duct issue, but after going to the park for a few hours and talking about everything but HVAC technology we were able to come back and attack the problem from a fresh perspective. I need to find a job sometime next month so that I can pay my rent for August, so I still have time and should be fine. I have three more days of heating and cooling writing work still before my work ends and then I will take a few days to just relax and forget about it all. Then I will come back with a fresh mind and will look for a job online and probably get one within a week.
Looking for climate control work
On Tuesday I will start a new job hunt.
I am only looking for a part time job that can make me about $500 a month, so I think it shouldn’t take that long to find as there are a lot of part time jobs out there.
I have a few other small income streams paying me a total of about $800 a month give or take. My bills are about $1100 a month so I really could make it on $300 a month with the new job to just scrape by. Another option would be working for the local contractor in town a few hours a week and then this HVAC tech would probably be set. I have this PayPal bill of $800 that is now accruing $150 each month in interest and if I don’t pay they will end up suing me or something. The new contractor in town told me about Paypal and how much they charge in interest, and now that climate control system I bought is going to cost me double what I paid for it at the HVAC company if I can’t pay this thing off. I’m sure there is a solution out there but right now I am not sure what it is. I will talk to my heating supplier friend because he was working for Paypal at one point when he was a radiant heater salesman for them back in the day. I am sure I can figure something out and maybe I’ll just pay the $40 minimum and let them tack on that interest each month.
Cooling system is doing its thing
I may have to abandon ship soon on this company I’ve been riding because they just don’t seem to get things moving in the right direction.
I will probably jump on the Bitcoin Cash bandwagon because the thing looks to be starting a bull run and the price could go from $200 a coin, where it is now, to $10,000 a coin in a very short time.
I’ll buy 20 coins and just let it ride as it looks like we may take off soon. I am waiting a couple more days to make sure, but even my heating rep is jumping on with the money he made selling his HVAC corp last year. We will both talk on Monday and if the coin is still looking good we will both buy some coins. If I can make more money doing space heater repairs like I have been doing then I will buy more coins. I used to have 150 of the dang coin last year but sold because it kept dropping. I took that money and bought a mini split a/c system for my bedroom last year, but now that air con system is going to cost me a lot more than I originally paid for it. AI taking over the heating and cooling system world
AI looks to be running the world, from the electric car companies to writing gigs online and it is making me wonder if we are moving in the right direction.
If AI takes all these jobs then what are those people going to do? It shouldn’t be hindering our progress, and taking jobs from people seems to be doing just that.
But maybe I am looking at it from the wrong angle and in the long term maybe it’ll help the world. But right now it isn’t helping this HVAC tech’s world as I am now losing my heating and cooling writing job to it in a few days. I basically have the month of July, which is in a week, to find another job so I can make my rent payment. I am running the air con system less trying to save some money on my cooling system bills and I think my band is going to start playing a lot more to earn money that way as well. Worst case scenario I talk to my landlord about reducing my rent for a few months till I find another HVAC worker job. The local business may be hiring so I will look there for some heating technician work, but if they have nothing then I am going to have to look online and find something that way. I’m sure there are cooling corps online that need some writing work that isn’t done with AI, but I will have to look first. My HVAC expert friend may have something for me too.
