Smart thermostats are actually appealing, I feel most people would agree that a smart thermostat is better than having a dial thermostat.
However a smart thermostat, or any smart device for that matter is only as wonderful as they are if they work… So when you have a smart thermostat like I do that has stopped working it does not entirely do you much good, I’m not easily sure why it stopped working however I know that I was sleeping and getting a wonderful evening’s rest and I woke up to feeling sizzling and sweaty.
I found this to be easily unofficial because I have the smart thermostat set to have my air conditioning running all throughout the evening. I have a preferred evening time temperature, and for the last 5 years my smart thermostat has consistently without fail run my perfect evening time hot and cold temperatures. So I woke up in the middle of the evening feeling sizzling and sweaty. I need something wrong. The first thing I did was go over to the thermostat that I had mounted on the wall and take a look at it. I was entirely distraught at first because when I tried to put any inputs on it and nothing responded or did anything. I thought there was something seriously wrong with my heating and a/c and that gave me a wonderful startle because I don’t have the currency to afford an high-priced repair. I reluctantly made a heating and A/C appointment, and thankfully when the HVAC worker came out here she told me it was my thermostat that was awful and not my heating and A/C system. Now I just have to get a new thermostat.
