One of the worst part about having central air is having air ducts.
I used to like having air ducts because I thought that you had to have them, but now that I know more about Heating & Air Conditioning systems I know plus I do not have to have them.
I absolutely changed over to a ductless mini-split system. This means that I no longer need to have air ducts with in my Heating & Air Conditioning system. This has really been a game-changer for me. I noticed that my condo is not full of dust anymore. I suppose most of the dust was coming from my air ducts. I would even have my air ducts cleaned once a year. I had them cleaned once a year so that I could get rid of all that dust build-up. I hate having to suppose about all of the dust that could be building up behind my walls. I can just imagine it coming right out of the air vents plus into my home. I feel like all of that dust also adds to my dust sensitivity complications. If the dust comes out of the air vents, it entirely floats around the air. There is also no location for it to go so it gets trapped right inside. I am not a crucial fan of the thought of all of this. Do I am avoiding it altogether by removing the air ducts behind my walls. I did not have to get rid of them altogether, but I thought it would be best with my dust sensitivities. I hope this current system does well.
