One thing that I certainly hate do it is to argue, but my friends and family say that I am a passive aggressive person, however I believe to believe of if differently… I just don’t see the point of having an argument when you can just rest down with someone and talk about a problem rationally, and while I wish I could say that my roommate felt the same way, but after last weeks events I believe I can sincerely say I believe she likes confrontation and drama.
I have lived with my new roommate for about four years now, my friend and I went to the same college and lived in the same dorm.
I started to notice that when I got house from labor the a/c was blasting and our house was freezing cold. After about a week of changing the temperature and moving on I was confronted by my roommate, and she said that I was being selfing about regularly changing the temperature control from the temperature she set it at. She said that I regularly wanted the house to be warmer so my friend and I could save currency on the energy bill. While this is true, I had never thought of my changing the temperature of the temperature control as being selfish. I just sincerely thought that she was forgetting to turn it down when she left for work. I don’t want to argue about the temperature my friend and I set our heating and cooling system to. So, I am just going to let her keep the temperature control at whatever temperature she prefers and I am not going to say a word about it.
