I live in a rather old apartment building. I just moved in a couple of weeks ago and everything seems to be going well so far. I don’t have a roommate because I like to live alone, but for the most part I feel safe in my new place. I have lived with a lot of roommates in the past and I am happy that I am finally able to live alone in my own space. I know the winter time is coming and the town I live in gets very cold during this season. I am sure that I will have to have the heat blasting for about four months during the winter, so I thought it would be a good idea to reach out to my landlord about having the air ducts cleaned. I wanted to make sure that they were clean and debris wasn’t trapped inside. Having debris trapped in your air ducts is a sure way to start a fire while the heat is on. So I called my landlord and he thought it was a great idea and asked that I call a local HVAC company to give me a quote. After send my landlord the quote, he made an appointment for the cleaning. I am happy that he was open to the idea of having my air ducts cleaned because the last thing we both need is for my apartment to catch on fire just because the air ducts were dirty! Now I can turn on the heat without having a care in the world.
