For as long as I can remember I have suffered from terrible anxiety.
When I was a kid my parents gave me medication so that I could help manage my anxiety while I was at school all day.
However, as I got older I wanted to try and heal my anxiety through meditation and not have to rely on medication to help me. For about ten years I have been doing really well managing my anxiety on my own. However, in the past two weeks it has gotten really bad again. One thing that really spiked my anxiety levels was when my HVAC system stopped working. It wasn’t’t the fact that the HVAC system wasn’t’t working, but that I was going to have to have a HVAC tech in my house for a few hours while he tried to fix the HVAC system. I really don’t like to have people that I don’t know in my house and this was starting to really make me nervous. I wish that I could just have the HVAC tech over to my house without having to worry about a panic attack. However, that was not the case and I had the worst panic attack the morning that the HVAC tech was supposed to come over to my house. I had to reschedule the appointment with the HVAC company because my anxiety got so bad right before the HVAC tech was supposed to be out at my house. I really hope they don’t end up charging me because I missed the appointment.
