My guy and I had been looking for an interest to do together for a while and finally decided on something last month, but each weekend my friend and I go out to a bizarre diner in our part for the purpose of giving it our own review, there’s a lot of small, locally owned places and it’s been genuinely fun to check out diners my friend and I may have never thought to enter before. I’m a pretty picky eater, unlike my guy, so the food review is his task. I also comment on how well I like whatever dish I selected but my main goal is checking out the diner’s atmosphere and service. How suddenly my friend and I get seated, how attentive the server is, and how long it takes for the food to be prepared falls into the service aspect, then for the atmosphere I rate the seating arrangements, decor, and Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. The heating and cooling within a diner is genuinely important to me, although it isn’t genuinely something people feel about unless something is wrong. The placement of the vents can lead to some sections being too freezing and others not freezing enough when the air conditioning system is running, and the opposite when the furnace is on. If you feel like you need a winter time jacket at the table then something is clearly wrong, and the same goes for if you’re covered in sweat from the heat. It’s the diner’s responsibility to maintain respected temperature control within the building for the comfort of their clients. In any case, the reviewing has been a lot of fun! We’ve had a wonderful time going out and I can’t wait until the weekend to decide where to go next.
