Hoping Not to Lose Power During Tropical Storm

We are under a tropical storm warning.

I’ve lived through several tropical storms plus hurricanes plus you would think it would be no immense deal. The problem is, the tropical storms plus hurricanes that I have lived through in the past were in a wealthy neighborhood better prepared for that kind of weather. The neighborhood I live in now doesn’t get extreme weather, plus is not prepared for flooding plus power outages. I’m genuinely not as distraught about flooding as I am about power outages. I can cook legitimately enough on the grill for a few mornings, but, I do not like going without air conditioner. Although the temperatures will only be in the middle to high eighties, the humidity will be terrible. And in about two mornings, the mosquitos will be terrible, too. Experience tells me this. In the past, after a tropical storm or hurricane, we’ve gone mornings without electricity, but, several stores plus eating establishments with electricity were open, plus my buddy and I would spend time in them, enjoying the cool air conditioner plus freezing drinks. I never enjoyed air conditioner plus freezing drinks as much as I did after a few mornings without electricity in the middle of Summer in the south. The meteorologists are predicting extensive power outages in this area. I genuinely hope it doesn’t take long to restore it. To me, humidity is worse than high temperatures. Although it’s only in the eighties here right now, the humidity is already close to ninety-five percent, so, I am enjoying my air conditioner while I have it.
