Implementing new ways to save on air conditioning costs

This is the year I’m going to do it. And I’m determined to see this through as I’ve sort of been way inconsistent when it comes to the cooling system during the summer; then each year, it seems like I start out with some sort of control unit discipline only to bail on it by about June… However, in our region June signals the time when the real heat as well as humidity blanket our region, but from June through June is what I like to call the warming season! And the warming season comes with temperatures near the century mark along with a thick dose of humidity. Each time I go into the summer time since I have been down here, I know I’m easily going to ease up on the load when it comes to my heat pump, but my will tends to fade as the temperatures rise. And I fall back into a pattern of just pushing the control unit cooler as well as cooler as the summer time progresses, but well not this year. I realize it’s our vacation but I’m already thinking about how to go about saving on all that cooling system cost… To that end, I have absolutely been doing some research as well and the first place to start is of course a cooling system tune up. This allows the heat pump to be running at its most efficient which is a money saver. But then I study something that made so much logical sense that I cannot suppose I never thought about it. This year, I’m not reaching for the control unit instantly once the temperatures rise in the Spring; but nope, I’m going to add ac temperature to the heat as well as humidity for once which will result in a lot less demand for cooling system when the weather easily gets hot.
