Don’t forget HVAC – cleaning for parties

I realized that I cannot date an extrovert.

I’m naturally an introvert myself, and I really need my alone time.

Dating an extrovert is like having a conjoined twin. They’re constantly right at your side, wanting attention and demanding that you entertain them. What’s even more annoying is the continual desire to have large parties. They always want to have people at the house and to be the center of attention. While I’m happy to sit in the background quietly, I don’t feel like I get much from the party experience. In fact, I usually just wind up having to prepare for the entire party. Let me tell you, I’ve learned a few things about cleaning and preparing a home for guests. My biggest tip is that you have your central heating and cooling system service before you have guests over. I know, the HVAC system maintenance probably isn’t the first cast your mind jumps to. however, if you don’t take care of it you are fighting a losing battle. When you have a dirty air filter, dirty air ducts, and dirty air vents, there’s no point in trying to clean your house. Every time you move into a new room and start dusting, you’re simply kicking more debris and dander into the air. It’s being sucked into your central heating and cooling system and spreading around the entire house. All of the accumulated dust and debris inside of the air temperature control system will pepper your house with a layer of dust every time the thermostat clicks on. Whether you’re a party animal or party planner, if you want to clean house, start with a clean HVAC system.
