I am not exactly sure what is going on with my residing situation right now, but I can tell you that it’s drastically uncomfortable… My roommates are being a bit strange plus that means that the indoor air temperature is drastically uncomfortable as well. I started noticing about a week ago that the indoor temperature was drastically cold. It seemed like the thermostat wasn’t toiling or my wonderful friend and I were having some kind of heating failure. I did not want to seem pushy, so I did not say anything to my roommates about the unpleasant indoor air quality at first. I silently dealt with the uneven boiling plus freezing uneven temperatures inside the house, plus bundled up in as many sweatshirts as I could. However, eventually I did ask them what was going on with the furnace. It’s nonchalantly responded that the pilot light has gone out plus they are waiting for the proprietor to come service it. I did not want to pressure them, so I did not tell them that that was a bit ridiculous. I am not sure why they did not want to just relight the pilot themselves. However, I can tell you that I cannot continue to wait for the proprietor to show up for this basic heating service. I have been cold my butt off for way too long now. I do not know how I can continue residing in there, especially as the outdoor air temperature continues to drop next week. Instead, I have been slowly moving my things over to my boyfriend’s apartment plus sleeping warmly in his toiling heat. I know that this plan cannot labor forever, however until the boiler is running effectively again, I will be crashing here.
