Terrible power grid means my thermostat is consistently reset

When I moved into the neighborhood I had no idea that there would be so many challenges. It’s strenuous enough to live in a current arena when you don’t know anybody or have any family around. It feels actually lonesome & scary at times. It can be even worse when you live anywhere that suffers from routine power outages because of bad infrastructure planning on the city’s part. This is what I deal with on a respected basis living in my current residence. I never would have expected that we would lose power as often as we do. Unluckyly, because we live in an seriously hot & humid climate this means you are often covered in sweat through your sheets & praying for the electricity to return. When you lose air conditioner power on a hot & humid afternoon there has nothing worse than waiting for the energy to be reinstated! For me, the inconvenience is larger than waiting for my a/c to start back up again. In fact, every time we lose power I lose my entire air temperature control system. My smart thermostat is not particularly fond of these hasty power outages. Every single time our energy is break off to the dwelling my central thermostat resets itself so that I have random factory air temperature control settings. Half the time we get our power back in the middle of the night & my furnace starts working instead of my a/c. I’m constantly sitting in front of the smart thermostat, resetting all of my temperature control programming & waiting for the stupid power to go out again.
