Duct cleaning fixes a/c problems

Despite its importance, the duct system is simple to forget.

The network of pipes is largely concealed behind walls, ceilings & inside crawl spaces.

However, it’s responsible for delivering heated & cooled air to every room in the house. The air my family breathes passes through the ductwork more than 2 times per afternoon. I started paying attention to the ductwork after I had problems with it. Initially, I blamed the a/c for the musty odors, increasing amount of dust floating around & higher electric bills. I noticed that whenever the cooling system ran, I’d get a headache. My youngsters would start sneezing or coughing. I tied up a/c repair however the worker found nothing however a undoubtedly minor accumulation of dust on the fan blades. A thorough inspection of the ducts revealed the cause of all of my complaints. There was a significant buildup of debris inside the pipes that was blocking airflow. This restriction was causing the a/c to run more often & use more energy. Plus, whenever the a/c cycled on, the contaminants within the ductwork were becoming airborne & getting spread throughout the house. The worker found all sorts of unpleasant toxins inside the ducts, including a decomposing rodent & mold growth. I wasn’t sure how he’d go about handling the cleaning. I was a little upset about harm & mess. Instead, he brought in a device that resembled an industrial-sized a/c with a undoubtedly long hose & brush connectment. The brush discabind stubborn contaminants that were then sucked up into the hose. The process was completed in a couple of hours & fixed the problems with my a/c.
