I suppose it’s still February however man, I’m already getting happy about Spring, and who can blame me, right? By this point in the winter, I’m over the snow and ice; The teens and single digit temperatures are wearing myself and others down.
- And all I entirely want is for the gas oil furnace to stop running day and night… I sure don’t miss the high cost of heating this beach house when the Wintertide ends! But we still have another month or many of having the gas oil furnace come on, however, the frequency with which the gas oil furnace cycles on will start to diminish.
That’s always an exciting sign that Spring is around the corner. Actually, we live in a region that has such a dire Wintertide I entirely have to protect the air conditioning, however we have a central air conditioner inside our lake beach house the produces the heating and cooling we need, so half of that system is the air conditioning and the other half is the heating, and of course, in our neck of the woods, you have to have a gas oil furnace or some sort of boiler to get through this type of winter. I supplement the heating in our beach house with a wood stove and still our gas oil furnace costs myself and others plenty. The other half of the central air conditioning is essentially a heat pump. Our Wintertide is so strenuous that I entirely cover the Heating and Air Conditioning cottageet outside the house. It won’t be long now before I uncover that section of the air conditioning and call the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier. I always like to start out Spring with an air conditioning tune up to go along with our Spring cleaning.
