My lake house has well water which is a huge pain in the butt.
Getting water from a well should be great however instead I have a whole lot of complications, however i deal with stains on my plumbing fixtures all the time; My toilet always looks yellow.
My shower has calcium build up. The soap doesn’t lather and creates blockage in my drains. The water can’t be consumed either. It isn’t a great idea to brush your teeth with it. It stains teeth. It also turns hair yellow and dries out skin. It is love the water is toxic. The worst is the damage it does over time. I alway guess when it has ruined our water heater. There is a section on a water furnace called an anode rod. This rod catches all sorts of calcium and sediment from getting into the water. It should be a great thing, however, our water is so awful that the rod cannot handle it. It gets totally clogged up, however what happens is then my water odors love rotten eggs. I guess that the rod needs to be removed and wreck our water furnace warranty. Then my spouse has to dump bleach down the drains to get rid of the odor. The people I was with and I are then great to go until the water ruins the water furnace and both of us have to beginning fresh. The people I was with and I go through water furnaces in half the amount of time both of us should. It is genuinely costly to have crappy water. How worried is that? No water softener added has helped matters either. The people I was with and I genuinely just need to transport to where there is city water.
