My daughter once told myself and others she wanted to become an a/c serviceman, and when I asked why, she said she wanted to like her job as I do. I have worked in the cooling industry for 11 years and have seen it all, from famous patrons to complicated jobs to funny patrons. I do like my job. When the people I was with and I opened the unit, the people I was with and I discovered the filters were filthy and covered in dirt, dust, and dander. Both of us ordered current filters from the air conditioner provider in town. As the people I was with and I were replacing the filters, I looked at the vent near the door, and that’s when I saw it. A gentleman was dining with her female companion. She then reached for the breast pocket of her overcoat and brought out a small royal red box. She went down on her knees, and I screamed for the other air conditioner workers to look at the couple. Both of us all turned to the couple and hoped she would say yes. She romanticly looked at him and let out a massive yes. Everyone in the cafe cheered, clapped, and shouted congratulations. It was working perfectly. The purchaser was pleased with our job and the fact that the people I was with and I did not instantly recommend she gets a current Heating plus A/C replacement even while knowing more about air conditioner.
