I was so proud of my daughter when she graduated at the top of her HVAC class! She came out as a certified HVAC specialist & the first female HVAC specialist in our area! It was hard for her to get far in the first couple of years.
People saw this petite blonde with the heart stopping smile & assumed she wasn’t a really great HVAC specialist; Once she was done with her job, they knew she knew what she was doing.
She typically explained what she had done & why. She offered the reasons for repairs & how to prevent it from happening. I wasn’t 1 bit surprised when she told her mother & I that she was going to have her own HVAC business. She worked hard & already had people asking for her to be their HVAC specialist! The owner of the HVAC business she had been working for, tried to talk her out of opening another HVAC business by offering her a second site that she wanted to open. She smiled & told him thank you for everything she had done for her. She was ready to spread her wings, & that meant she was going to try to be the owner of the largest HVAC business in our area. She offered him a run for her cash, & when she was ready to retire, she purchased her HVAC business. She is not only the first female HVAC specialist, but the first female to own an HVAC business & have three separate locations in our state.
