Canceling duct cleaning due to the rain

I never imagined that being rained on could be painful until that day.

The rain mixed with small hailstones pelted one mercilessly as I made my way from the farm to the house.

I was soaking wet from head to toe, and water pooled where I stood. I had earlier called the home service provider for duct cleaning. Staying so far out of town meant I had to take extra care of the HVAC equipment in the main house and the barn. I achieved that by doing simple things such as duct sealing and opting for a washable filter instead of the non washable air filter to minimize the number of times I replaced it. I also recently bought air purification help. I initially thought that the HVAC’s air purification system would be enough to maintain good indoor air quality. Still, spraying pesticides on the crops made it prudent to secure the air quality systems in my home. During the last maintenance service, the HVAC technician told me about a smart HVAC when I asked him how I could save energy. He gave me the idea of an intelligent thermostat, and innovative vents were foreign to me, but they intrigued me. Life would be much more manageable with such a system in place. In the meantime, the HVAC professional would have to ensure that the whole-home air purification system installed alongside my HVAC system was okay to survive another season. However, it would have to wait for another day because the rain had made the dirt road to my house impassable. We get plenty of fresh air in the country, and an extra air purification gadget is unnecessary. Still, I don’t particularly appreciate taking chances with the farm so close to my home. I have a two-year-old, and a four-year-old, and their health comes first.
