The customer doesn’t even have to pick up the phone. They can enter into a chat session if they just want to ask a couple of questions. Since we added the special chat feature on the website, I have had a lot of great reviews online about our customer service and our helpful online features. Adding the live chat feature didn’t really take too much time for the IT guy, and I already had someone who was on call overnight. It made sense to add 24 hour online support if we could figure it out.
