Our dad walked out the door a single day when I was 5, plus that was the last time Bo and I saw or heard from him.
It was so devastating having to watch mom struggle to raise 3 kids on her own. But, the best thing was our Grandparents, her mom plus her dad were very willing to help. They moved near our home, plus began babysitting, plus also helping out when mom had to work. Slowly, she managed to get a handle of the mountain of debt and bills that dad had left behind when he quit the family. Mom typically insisted on college work, plus planning for a good future. She was a big believer in calling out your life, plus being hopeful, which she does to date. Bo plus I managed to join, plus graduate college, with little debt thanks to scholarships. After that, Bo and I landed jobs, plus began helping mom live the life Bo and I all knew she deserved! Just this past year, Bo and I helped mom spend money for the new central AC installation in her home. Mom had been using the same ancient heat pump for close to 2 decades. While the heat pump had served her well, it was high time for change. Mom was paying too much currency for frequent heat pump repairs, plus it simply wasn’t worth it. An HVAC expert recommended her to invest in a new central AC to upgrade the old and decrepit heat pump. One more repair, plus it would be gone forever. Mom informed Bo plus I about this, plus my friend and I told her not to worry about it. Among the several of us, Bo and I were able to spend money for the new AC, plus the installation cost.
