I still have three hours to finish my online work and my yoga session before I have to go shopping. Today’s food shopping will be expensive because I am out of everything. I wish they could just give me the food I require, but this town is not yet prepared to do so. I believe that in the future, you will be able to order your weekly food and have it delivered to your door at the same time. If the local corporation delivered everything I needed for the week, it would save me a lot of money. Then I’d just have to put the food away, which would only take about five minutes, but the heating and cooling systems in the delivery trucks would have to be fantastic to keep the food from spoiling on the way to my house. That would save me a lot of time, which I could use to work on songs or something else related to my songs. I don’t mind shopping at local businesses, especially in the summer when the air conditioner in the store is freezing as well as the weather outside is warm. I’m thinking about hiring my flatmate to shop for me and spending my savings on a lower rent for him, because he prefers to shop for some reason. In the future, I hope to see a seamless integration of online food delivery and local businesses, allowing me to save time and money while supporting the community, so I can focus on what I truly enjoy, like working on my songs.
