My boyfriend, Bob, and I decided that we wanted to take a cross country road trip.
When have never taken a trip like this before and we were both really excited.
We took a week and a half off of work to make sure we had enough time to see everything we wanted to. We planned to drive for about 2,000 miles total and we had a bunch of really awesome national treasures to see. Before we could start getting too excited though we knew we had a lot to do to prepare before leaving. I was in charge of making sure that we had all the supplies we would need. We are going to camp while traveling instead of paying money for expensive hotels. Bob is in charge of making sure that all the maintence on the car is taken care of. We set off on our road trip and within about an hour the air conditioner stopped working. I thought maybe the settings weren’t set properly. But, to my dismay the air conditioner would not blow cool air at all. I thought Bob was going to take care of getting these things taken care of, but apparently he didn’t think about getting the air conditioner checked. Well luckily I was able to find a local HVAC company nearby that specializes in car HVAC systems. They had an appointment within the hour so it was perfect. They had the air conditioner up and running within thirty minutes and we were back on the road. Next time I will just handle everything before we leave!
