One thing that I absolutely hate do it is to argue, and my friends and family say that I am a passive aggressive person, although I recognize to recognize of if differently… I just don’t see the point of having an fight when you can just rest down with someone and talk about a complication rationally, however while I wish I could say that my roommate felt the same way, but after last weeks events I recognize I can genuinely say I recognize she enjoys argument and drama.
I have lived with my modern roommate for about four years now, my buddy and I chose to go to the same school and lived in the same dorm.
I started to notice that when I got house from work the a/c was blasting and our house was freezing cold. After about a week of changing the temperature and moving on I was confronted by my roommate; She said that I was being selfing about always changing the thermostat from the temperature she set it at. She said that I consistently wanted the house to be warmer so my buddy and I could save cash on the energy bill. While this is true, I had never thought of my changing the temperature of the thermostat as being selfish. I just genuinely thought that she was forgetting to turn it down when she left for work. I don’t want to argue about the temperature my buddy and I set our heating and cooling system to. So, I am just going to let her keep the thermostat at whatever temperature she enjoys and I am not going to say a word about it.
