I think it’s still December however man, I’m already getting excited about Spring, and who can blame me, right? By this point in the winter, I’m over the snow and ice, the teens and single digit hot and cold temperatures are wearing myself and others down.
And all I certainly want is for the gas heating system to stop running day and evening, and i sure don’t miss the high cost of heating this condo when the Winter time ends; But we still have another month or 2 of having the gas heating system come on, and however, the frequency with which the gas heating system cycles on will start to diminish. That’s always an exciting sign that Spring is around the corner. Actually, we live in a region that has such a extreme Winter time I certainly have to protect the air conditioner, but we have a central air conditioner component inside our condo the produces the heating and cooling we need! So half of that system is the air conditioner and the other half is the heating, but of course, in our neck of the woods, you have to have a gas heating system or some sort of boiler to get through this style of winter. I supplement the heating in our condo with a wood stove and still my gas heating system costs myself and others plenty. The other half of the central air conditioner is essentially a heat pump. Our Winter time is so difficult that I certainly cover the Heating and A/C cabinet outside the house. It won’t be long now before I uncover that area of the air conditioner and call the Heating and A/C dealer. I always care about to start out Spring with an air conditioner tune up to go along with our Spring cleaning.
