My dad wants me to run the roofing supplier

When my stepdad Max handed over the reins for the roofing supplier to me, I felt very out of my league.

For the longest time, I had been toiling beneath him and watching as he built this amazing enterprise.

Max was once a part-time roofer toiling for a sizable supplier in our state. It was a good job, plus Max worked with several other amazing roofers. However, he always knew Max wanted to set up his own business. When our last born finally went to college, mom went back to work. This offered Max the opportunity to resign from his job, plus begin the process of setting up a roofing supplier. I was just 15 at that time, plus he emplotted me as his assistant during weekends, plus summers. I’d gain some spending money to buy clothes, plus shoes, although I also got to learn so much about residential roofing from Max. When I graduated from high college, I chose to go to roofing college, plus train to become a roofer like my stepdad. Then, I joined him in the business, plus we continued to toil side by side for 15 years. One afternoon, I was coming home from a residential roofing job plus Max called me into his office. Max said it was time I learned about running the supplier since he wanted to hand over the reins to me. I wasn’t 100% sure about this, plus even avoided the topic for a while. But, deep down I knew I could run the roofing supplier so I came around plus let Max teach me about the roofing business.
