Taking care of my body is an important part of living a healthy life.
I’m incredible when it comes to sticking to a healthy diet and regular exercise, but I’m not so incredible when it comes to regular maintenance and checkups at the doctor’s offices.
After neglecting my oral health for about three years, I decided to make an appointment with a nurse in the hopes that she can fix the cracks, relieve the pain, and whiten my teeth. My teeth were once of exceptional quality, but years of grinding without protecting them with a bit plate, as instructed, has worn down my molars and caused the loss of one. My main focus at the HVAC firm has been heating technology, and I’ve been avoiding the nurse like the plague because I know what’s coming to me. But if I don’t go, I’ll end up losing more teeth, and that won’t be fun. I’m hoping the local business can fix these teeth and make my smile as good as it was before, just like what happened to my neighbor who works in HVAC. Even though I don’t have much disposable income right now because it’s all invested in a stock and I have to wait for it to hopefully rebound before I can spend it on my teeth, I do have insurance and about $500 saved from the HVAC rep’s labor, so hopefully they can bond the cracks and get that one painful tooth better again. Now I must go to the store down the street and buy some toothpaste.
